So lately my pc is going crazy I have a compaq with xp on it.
This is the message I got upon startup.
Data execution prevention
To help protect your computer, windows has closed this program
Name: Generic Host proocess for win32 services
Publisher: Microsoft corporation

Than it said some other programs were closed earlier and the files it said was

C:/Docume~1\CompaQ~1|Locals~1|Temp|WER4f67.dir00~suchost.ex.mdmp

C:/Docume~1\CompaQ~1|Locals~1|Temp|WER4f67.dir00~appcompat.txt

Also upon coming out of hibernate a couple of times I kept getting an error earlier this week ""The instruction at 0x00942a5o referred memory of 0x00942a5o . The memory can not be written". Any solutions? Thanks?

Also I have norton 2005 (rally outdated sorry) can I pit on agv and use both, also how would I know that the file its trying to delete is really needed?
