I wonder if we've got some conflicting driver elements floating around. Do you disable your anti-virus when you install?

Which drivers did you try and did you reboot after installing them?

In any case, reboot one more time and upload me a fresh right.html file so I can see if anything changed.

Wasn't suggesting an infection...A/V apps can cause driver installs to do funny things.

WinAudit reports that version 181.22 was installed. (last 5 digits of the version number)

Maybe try removing the drivers again and then run DriverSweeper on it before installing them again.

thats the thing I cant remove the drivers, as It doesnt say they're installed. I dont personally think this is a driver problem, as I installed drivers as the very FIRST thing, it worked the day after then just stopped working..

Will control panel open if you navigate to the .exe? (C:\Windows\System32\control.exe)

If it will, go to Programs and Features, configure to show updates, locate and remove KB940157 (Windows Search 4.0 for Windows Vista x64-based Systems)

Reboot and try the Control Panel shortcut.

:)

Click the Start Orb, then All Programs, then Accessories, right click on Command Prompt, and choose "Run as Administrator". In the command session window, type Control at the prompt and press Enter.

Control Panel open?

(Type exit and press Enter to close the command session)
