Hello, new user here! I'm in an intro level computer security class and I'm stumped by a couple of our in class questions. If anyone could help, that'd be great!

1)What does SYSKEYED mean?
2)If you weren't an administrator, how could you retrieve a copy of a SAM file? (One way involves checking to see if the system has been secured after the backup process)
3)Search the internet to find a program that could be used to decrypt a SAM file. What is the name of it and what does it do?

Thanks in advance,

WooKeTS

hello,

I'm in an intro level computer security class and I'm stumped by a couple of our in class questions.

I am sorry, but it is against our terms of use to help with school work.
It is a valid research method to look up questions using our search feature, and of course Google, however we can not answer the questions directly.

It's not for college or high school or anything. It's an optional class for adults in our neighborhood.
