New to Vista and this forum; Just build this system: asus p6t deluxe,I7core 2.6 mhz, 12 gb ram ddr3 1600 corsair, ATI radeon 4870 1 gb, corsair 750 watts, 2 640 HD sata raid 0, running on vista ultimate 64, is only one week old and twice during boot have to use repair because of: missing or corrupt file=windows root\system32\hal.dll;
I use repair as I said from the vista intallation disk, some times it does repair and the system starts and some times just tells me that it is unable to repair but anyway the system works, the point is that i have to use repair every time that i boot the pc and the system is less han a week old, when i go to command and look for the file i found it but i do not know if the path is corrupted in boot.ini and if vista still uses this file.
please can you help me?
