Been having connectivity problems and have just noticed that PC Link and connectivity lights on modem are not quite as active as they usually seem to be..
a bit more "dark" time
and maybe computer is running a little slower.....
I read something about packet loss issues with Comcast....
and I am also wondering if distance from server effects performance....

I don't sit and stare at modem :)

But have noticed some difference in the rate of blinking and computer performance.

Not urgent issue
