While I'm trying to play Guild Wars, my laptop freezes suddenly, and I have to press and hold down the on/off button to turn it off.
System specs are:
Gateway
Intel (centrino) Core 2 duo processors
NVidia GeForce 9800M GTS Cuda with 1 GB discrete video memory
4 gigs of RAM
Windows Vista Home 64 bit
I have just updated the graphics drivers, so that cannot be the problem. In fact, after updating, the problem came almost immediately, whereas with the older driver, the problem occurred after playing for a little bit.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Akane
P.S.: If the computer manages to recover from the freeze, it tells me that a device driver stopped working. I assume that's the display driver. But why?
