Hi everyone.

Recently I read about security problems with Adobe Reader on versions older then 9.1. I run version version 8.1.4. I try to download 9.1 version but as soon as connection with "download" is established I get an error message about Internet explorer encountered a problem etc. I tried to approach Adobe's web support but as soon as I try to connect to any of the links that deal with similar problems I get a message that the page could not be found etc etc.

After the download fails an icon is left on my desktop "Resume Adobe Download". When I click on it It links me to this page which prompts me to allow an Activex. Now, I used to download Adobe quite often but was never redirected, nor did I get any of the above mentioned errors.

Needless to say that my computer runs perfectly, no problems of any sort with any intenet site. I scan regularly with Avast, Malwarebytes and Superantispyware.

Could anyone tell me what causes my download problem and what is this site that I am redirected to.

Thanks in advance
