Is there any way to set up a command in a batch file to test if a certain Windows Explorer window is open? Not any Explorer window, but rather one for a specific drive (T:\ in my case).

My batch file starts a program which will automatically open an Explorer window of T:\. But then I don't want the remaining commands in my batch file to execute until I manually close the Explorer window.

Thanks for any advice.

know you got another option, but try Nircmd Commanline Tool from Nirsoft
allows you to check for exact open windows + much more options.. Nice Tool ~
