Hi all,
Just (quite) recently, my computer has begun to make all sorts of clicking and whirring sounds as though it's thinking very hard when it really has nothing to do. Everything is taking 3-4 times longer to load fully on startup (everything is very slowed down until about 4 or 5 minutes pass) and things continue to catch and stutter. It came on so suddenly that I kind of wondered if it might not be some kind of malware. I've tried a few basic measures like CCcleaner, ATFcleaner, and Malwarebytes, but haven't turned up anything. Please advise me on how to proceed. Thanks!
