I changed my password in a tired frenzy and instanstly forgot it, driving myself further into frustration I idiotically tried to sort the problem by starting a new account and moving the files over there via the 'Delete account' function. After my origanal account had been deleted I searched the new account to find that only documetns that were on the desktop of my old account had been saved.

Is there any way to retrieve an old account?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Claire
(P.S -my son posted this; he is absolutely distraught because he's lost all his notes and coursework for his A level exams - please, please help if you can, even if it's bad news at least we'll know. Thanks)

Unfortunatly, if you deleted the entire account, its almost impossible to get that data back that was on that account inexpensivly. I do know of several methods but require VERY expensive software to retrieve that data.

Here's a link to Undelete plus. Try the free trial first to see if it can find your files before you buy if needed. http://undeleteplus.com/ Helped me out when I lost a few files.
