Malwarebytes Not Working System Restore Not Working

Hi, I'm new to this forum so please forgive me if I am not doing this right. So I hope someone can help me. I recently tried to do a scan using Malwarebytes but when I tried to open the program it fails to open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still does not work. I check my other programs and they seem to work just find. I tried to do a system restore but when I click on the date and click next nothing happends. Now a windows firewall box keeps popping up that says Security Center Alert, Name: win32.Brontok. What do I need to do? Please Help
