I'm new to this board and did a search but could not find something close enough to this to know if it was the same problem.

Two times within the last month I will be on the internet just surfing not downloading and all of a sudden I will get a blue screen with white lines...no words or anything. Then the computer restarts.

Is this a hardware issue? I have had a LOT of problems with this laptop it is a HP pavilion and in less than a year I have replaced the motherboard and hard drive already. If anyone can advise me as what the problem might be I'd appreciate it!

Thanks!

yes, but not manufacturer's. it's a best buy warranty. that's why i was wondering if it might be a hardware problem since that is all they cover.

If it's still under warranty, I wouldn't play with it, but I'd bring it back to the store.
