No, :file has to be there.
Try to re-download SystemLook (maybe from the second mirror), and re-run the script.
If no go, we'll have to continue manually.

OK, then...
Right click on each file, click "Properties". What are the version numbers?

Same as mine.
I'm still worrying about possible damage from the power surge.

Go Start>Run ("Start Search" in Vista), type in:
sfc /scannow
Click OK (hold CTRL, and SHIFT, hit Enter in Vista).
Have Windows CD/DVD handy.
If System File Checker (sfc) will find any errors, it may ask you for the CD/DVD (rarely in Vista case).
If sfc won't find any errors in Windows XP, it'll simply quit, without any message.
In Vista you will receive the following message: "Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations".

1. Run hard drive diagnostics: http://www.tacktech....ay.cfm?ttid=287
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn .iso file to a CD, and make the CD bootable.

NOTE. If your hard drive is made by Toshiba, which is not listed, try using Hitachi tools.

2. Run memtest: http://www.techspot....topic62524.html

Get this one: Data Lifeguard Tools 11.0 for DOS and Windows (CD) (01.02.2007), so you can create bootable CD.
