Hi there, here again with this weird problem since i bought this product :

http://catalog.belki...oduct_Id=372146

i've been having spikes when gaming online like for 2 seconds and then it goes away now it has never happened before when i was using a Linksys
so im pretty sure it has something to do with my device meaning my wireless card as u can see i decided to take some pictures of my device so u can have an idea and explain me how to fix this problem because im really pissed about this to be honest its almost impossible to play online so i would really appreciate if u guys help me out with this and also take a look at the advanced option of my belkin where it says property and value i think there is the problem.
Giving some information :
im using microsoft windows xp professional SP3

will be so kind of u guys if u can help me to fix this problem, thank u and have a wonderful weekend. :)

Hello brady,

To be quite honest, Gaming on a wireless network will always be 'unstable'. Wireless packets are easily dropped (lost) which will cause latency. The 'best' fix would be to use a CAT5 cable.

Regarding the wireless though.. How have you configured your router? (specifically, your network settings on the router)

The cable you're looking for would be a "CAT5" cable. Or simply said a "UTP cable". Say either of those to any computer store and they'll be able to help you. I don't believe CAT5 cables are that expensive.. and I have no idea how variating the prices are, so I can't help you there. But there's only '1 kind' of 'brand' so just go for the cheapest you can find.

Olrik
