Hello everybody,

My schools computer labs have been completely infected at least twice. Once the entire school network went down because of a worm. Almost every time they traced it back to some moron with a flash drive.

Has your school/college ever had malware infect a lab or two?

Just a random question.........

As far as I know, no. Atleast not since I've been at school. All the computers at my school only provide limited access to students, they can't access the C drive or anything. Besides, I'm pretty sure nobody at my school is smart enough to even try anything anyways :)

Sounds like you need ScHwErV to be the network admin... :)

Yeah! Most of the time the Network Admin only gets mad if you:

#1. Eat up too much bandwidth

#2. Eat up too much bandwidth

#3. Eat up too much bandwidth

#4. Eat up too much bandwidth

#5. Infect the computers

#6. Cause any extra work for him

Did I mention that he doesn't like us to use a whole lot of bandwidth?

My school has never gotten infected before, but when the conflicker worm was the threat everyone was talking about I was fearing that my school got hit by it.

For some reason my school computers block many sites such as myspace and gambling sites.. but not youtube. Youtube eats up the bandwidth at my school like crazy. It really is the biggest worker productivity killer.. ever.
