hi and thanks for reading guys,
i've just removed somekind of hideous virus from my pc (or so i think) hiden in a root kit. the problem now is that windows explorer crashes on start up and so i either get a window open that does'nt respond or alternitively jst a horrid black screen with the mouse pointer. The virus was from an alleged free mp3 converter that i have removed (agsin i think). i can use the pc in safe mode without any problem. i used avast on start up to remove the virus however as i say i fear now that my pc may need a rebuild and i really could do with out it. So chaps any help you can offer i would be most gratefull of.
