Every time i turn my comp on it loads to just before the welcome screen and goes blue, then turns off about 3 times in a row. Then it comes on. I have tried System restore but that doesn't work just goes off. It wont let me reinstall Windows so i'm seriously haven't got a clue what can i do. Iv'e tried installing AVG but it wont install properly because it says there already a antivirus on here. Now that was Kapersky which i uninstaled. So how can it still be there? I cleared registry and stuff with the right programs but nothing is working. I't will be a few weeks till i get a new comp so please help.

Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder.
If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach zipped file to your next reply.
Vista users You may need to copy .dmp files, paste them into some other folder, or desktop, and zip them there.

Possible RAM problem.

If you have more than one RAM module installed, try starting computer with one RAM stick at a time.
If you have only one RAM stick installed...

Run hard drive diagnostics: http://www.tacktech....ay.cfm?ttid=287
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn .iso file to a CD, and make the CD bootable.

NOTE. If your hard drive is made by Toshiba, unfortunately, you're out of luck, because Toshiba doesn't provide any diagnostic tool.

Then we have some problem.
You have couple of choices...
Replacing CD drive, or slaving the hard drive in another computer, and testing it there.

Unfortunately, we've been wasting time here since we're dealing here with illegal copy of Windows.
Any help in that matter would be against board rules.
