Every time, I "click" on my I.E.icon(to get into internet explorer, I have to "LOG-ON"(type in log-on and password). I have tried everything I can think of;but, this happens ALL of the time. Even, after I have already done it,while in Windows 7.Screenshots?
There is no "log-on" in IE8 as standard.
I'm always connected. Yes, when I click on the icon for I.E.8, I always have to enter both my e-mail address and my password. I have gone into Tools,Security, and made changes in how I "log-on";but, nothing I do(now, and for some time.)lets me go right into my home web page. I've tried resetting it,etc.,etc. And the fact that I'm running Windows 7 32-bit, 7100 build. Microsoft won't let me un-install I.E. 8,or re-install it. Trust me---I checked. So, that's where I'm at.How do you connect to the internet? Is it asking you for a broadband username and password when you open?
Makaveli213,In IE8 try this.
Tools>Internet Options
Under the General Tab click Delete under the Browsing History section. Select to remove all cookies.
Now click the Advanced Tab.
There you will see the option to Reset IE8 back to default settings.
This should take IE8 back to the settings it had back when Win7 was first installed. Does that help resolve the login issue?
