Can't read files on my data disc?

I saved files on this dvd last year. I was using it maybe half an hour ago and i could access my files. I then ejected it to find a few files on another disc. Now when i put my dvd back in, it cant read it?? it says drag files to be added. It says my disc has 1.3 out of 4.38 gb saved on it. When i clicked on it to check for errors, it said it could not access the files. wth??? help!!

when i put the cd in no window pops up to ask me what i want to do either??

i put it in my husband's laptop and same thing...

before saving files on this disc it was formatted and i even labeled it... that name doesnt show up when you look at my computer now either
