Are you kidding me? I spent a good hour, and thought I was making good progress. Got stuck and didn't feel like spending all night so I looked for a walkthrough. I think I would have been here all WEEK. :)

If I've managed to stump the admin, you know it's a good one.

So, admin, did you find a tutorial?

Elster, if you did it by yourself in an hour with no tutorial, I can tell you that's exceptionally good. Sari, keep an eye on Elster in GeekU, he's obviously a genius. :)

I had to give up because I had other things to do. I spent probably 45 minutes on it - I got the briefcase open and I had a bunch of little gadgets, but I couldn't figure out what to do with them. What I really want to know is why Octagonal is on the wall over the safe.

Okay, instructions if you really want them. Even just to read through the instructions blows my mind. This must have taken ages to create, kudos to the creator. Note that (I'll say it again) it took me an hour to complete it following the instructions. I gave up otherwise! :)

Hiding

Edit: Oh and Octagonal is on the safe because apparently he's very photogenic, so the creator asked him to model. I think that's right.

yeah toward the end I had to look for the walk-through, but I only used it to nudge forward a little :)

[spoiler]The Walkthrough was nice, but still challenging.

Oh no, far from it. I have just always enjoyed these types of things. Brainteasers, puzzles, etc. I've played others similar to it, so I've learned to look for everything, use everything possible, and think outside of the box. Opening the right panel took me the longest to figure out, but once I got got that, things fell into place.

I must admit that I, too, wondered how Octagonal got to "moderate" that room, as well.

Well, I got stuck on one part, and I'm following the instructions on the walkthrough and it still isn't working. I'm obviously missing something.

Okay, if you have a die, and you're looking at the number 2, there are only 2 ways to represent that, correct? The dots are either in the upper left and lower right corners, or they're in the upper right and lower left corners. Neither one is working for me.

I put the dots in the upper left and lower right. You must have the order wrong. Sounds like you're close though!

It's the last color and it's the only number I haven't used. I've tried them both ways, Elster, and it says both are wrong. I even tried closing the game and re-opening it.

I've done all that. I get the first 5 colors with no problem. The 6th color is the number 2 on the die, but when I click on the corresponding buttons, I get the "Wrong!" buzz and I have to start over. Since I've used 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2 is the only number left. It just won't work.

*Octagonal shouts in my train ghost (from the move Ghost) voice "GET OUT OF MY ROOM" :)

I cheated and used the walkthrough after being stuck after 2 hours of trying to get through it.
I got quite far though, I pretty much solved most of it, but didn't make the link for that last tiny bit :)

Great fun, thanks Troy :)

Olrik
