Hi there,

a few weeks back I installed the Windows 7 RC. I have an HP 6000 series laptop with an internal mic/webcam.
All of my sound works just fine apart from the internal mic. (plugging a mic into the jack points doesn't work either.

When I go into the Control Panel - Recording.. it shows only 'Line in' and it says that it is not plugged in. I've tried right clicking and ticking the 'show disabled devices'... nothing! Went into Ease of Access.. 'Set up a Microphone'... nothing but an error message saying "No Audio input device found".

I'm really not sure what to do next.

Any ideas??

Many thanks
Nick
