Hello, and welcome to Geeks to Go.

Below you will find a list of staff titles to help you become familiar with who is helping you around the forums. We also have a topic where you can read something a little more personal about our staff members Get to know your Geeks to Go staff


Administrator
Can be from either the Tech or Malware side, they help build a sense of community, caring, and responsiveness through out the forums. They handle all aspects of day-to-day site operations, and ensure the site effectiveness. They moderate all forums making sure site rules and Terms of Use are adhered to, and in most cases are teachers in both GeekU, and the Tech Academy. They have complete control of all forums.

Global Moderator
Can be from either the Tech or Malware side, they are primarily the teaching staff for both GeekU, and the Tech Academy. They also help build a sense of community, caring, and responsiveness through out the forums. They have the ability to moderate all forums, and making sure site rules, or Terms of Use are adhered to. They can edit, delete, close, and move posts or topics etc… as needed in any forum.

Moderator
Can be from either the Tech or Malware side, they help build a sense of community, caring, and responsiveness in their assigned forum(s). They also have the responsibility of moderating their assigned forum(s), and making sure site rules, or Terms of Use are adhered to. They can edit, delete, close, and move posts or topics etc… as needed.

Staff
  • Expert
    They have a vast knowledge about all aspects of malware, and computers in general. Most have been around for quite some time, and are often developers of tools, respected teachers, or retired teachers at credible malware removal sites.
  • Malware Staff
    They have completed GeekU, and reached a level where they can give you accurate advice when working with malware. They are well trained, and can solve most malware problems without the help of peers or Experts.
  • Tech Staff
    They have been recruited into, and completed the Tech Academy. They have a vast knowledge of computers. They are able to offer accurate and safe assistance to members with problems in Operating Systems, Software, Hardware, and development topics.
GeekU
  • GeekU Senior
    These students have completed both freshman and junior classes, and show a strong knowledge and desire to help others. At this stage under direct supervision of an expert teacher the students may post help in the malware forum to an actual user.
  • GeekU Junior
    These students have completed the freshman classes, and show that they still have the desire to help others. Students also show that they are ready to learn more advanced ways of helping in malware removal.
  • GeekU Freshman
    Entry level into GeekU, these students show that they want to learn the basics of malware removal, and have a desire to help others.
Member
Members have a wide variety of things they do here on the forums. Some are seeking help; some are offering help (only topics other than malware), and some are even just making friends in the off-topic areas. If you are interested in GeekU feel free to apply, and if you are interested in the Tech Academy feel free to start posting polite accurate advice in the Operating Systems, Software, Hardware, and development topics, and see if you get recruited. :)
