Hi guys

I am trying to fix a friends Laptop, but I simply cannot get it to start

After switching the laptop on I get the following message

'Updates were not confiqured correctly. Reverting Changes'

The Laptop then Restarts and continues this process over & over

Tried loading into safe mode but the laptop just reboots and loops again & again

Any suggestions :)

Thanks for the reply michaelg9

I have tried all 10 Advanced Booting Options and they all give me the same result.

A windows screen with 'Updates were not confiqured correctly. Reverting Changes'
Please do not switch off you machine

Flashes onto the password screen for a millisecond then restarts :)

Hey, :)
If you have a vista installation cd then use it to restore the system to an earlier point where these updates were not installed to the system.
If you don't have use this.
If you need any help let me know.
Thank you :)
