The EULA states in the "Alternative Versions" section that..and I quote..."The software may contain more than one version, such as 32-bit and 64-bit. You may use only one version at one time." (From retail version EULA)

So, you can install whichever version you want, whenever you want, as often as you want...so long as it is only installed on one machine at any given time.
