Hello,

I came home from a vacation to find that my computer was totally hijacked by pop up fake infection adware. The Antispyware 2010 and a redirect infection that kept taking me to ads rather than to the page I had wanted to go to. I followed the instructions here, to include all of the steps in your help sections. I have run three full scans with MBAM, which takes over 4 hours. Everything seems to be fine with my system, although, every so often there is some new infection popping up or being found by Avast, or MBAM when I run them.

I thought that maybe I should run a log and post it here, so that you can use your eyes to see something that may still be hiding in my system, which is just re-infecting my system.

Here's what I did so far. Followed the instructions in this thread. I have windows xp.

I then re- installed and updated MBAM and ran it again. Checked the list in your malware section and did all of those steps. Used ccleaner, ran an avast scan, deep. Updated Java etc.

Let me know what scan log I should post for you to see if my system is okay now.

Thank you,
DeafinSeattle
