Yesterday while browsing I clicked a link and a virus or trojan started giving me errors saying my computer was infected. I used malwarebytes to clean it up. Now it says I have no malicious adware but something is blocking my connection to the internet. Its not my dsl modem/connection. That is working fine and my other computer(this computer) is accessing the internet fine. ATT/SBC could not figure it out. They even attempted to release my ip address and renew it and it still will not connect. I downloaded Firefox yesterday and messed w/ the proxy settings on it, but my internet was fine after. It only went down after the virus.

Since I cannot access the internet I downloaded all the tool/apps you recommend above and will install them via cd/or flash drive. Will that cause any issues? Thanks
