are you connected to the router with an ethernet cable or wirelessly?

press start, then run, then type "cmd" (no quotes) and press enter

once there type "ipconfig /all" (again...no quotes also note the space between ipconfig an /all)
post the results here

What about resetting the router back to the factory defaults? There will be a pin hole in the back of the router that you can press to reset.

a router at goodwill? you've got a nice goodwill...the closest thing i've ever seen to computer equipment at my goodwill was a 5.25" floppy drive and a serial mouse
