Hello, I recently purchased a external hard drive from Sams Club. Moments after I installed it to my laptop I wasn't able to use my mouse pad on my lap top. I had to plug in my mini mouse to the usb port so that I could uninstall the programs. unfortunately, I feel that the damage was done instantly. I've contacted the manufacturer, but they aren't wanting to claim any responsibility for the quality - or lack there of rather - of their product. Like most of you; My computer is the source of my lively-hood. I'm not anything close to a computer guru, but I'm not stupid either. I am looking for help with finding "common" areas within my computer to fix such problems like the one I'm having now. I have Norton and SpyBot installed on my system, but niether one seems to be able to detect any problems. Is there a program out there that can provide me with SERIOUS protection that won't cost me an arm & both legs to purchase? Please help me with this. My computer is getting slower by the second!!!
Best Regards,
