It's like DotA(Defense of the ancients), but with a newer engine and graphics.
basically, it's Warcraft III with a few tweaks, player controls one character or "hero", AI backup is sent every now and then. the objective of the game is to run around with your night-elf ?????? with level 4 lazer b33mz and destroy the enemy base. Quite addicting.

Right, I think I've heard of that. I've never really been into those types of games, but I know my room mate plays DOTA alot.
