Hi Guys,
I would be very grateful for any assistance in trying to resolve this problem.

I have been unable to use my laptop's touchpad for the past year or so. From time to time, I have tried to
get it going by downloading a driver, only to find that there's a notification in the general tab of the
touchpad's driver that "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required
for this device (code31)".
Sometimes, this driver just seems to vanish from Device Managers window!

At present, I have once again downloaded the driver,(code31) once again and it's listed in Device Manager's
window, with the yellow exclamation mark. I'd appreciate it if somebody can provide me with necessary steps
to install driver correctly.
OS: Dell Inspiron 1520, Vista Home Premium SP2

Many thanks, IandI
