Hi Guys,

Hope you can help!

I just clicked the history tab on my browser (Firefox 3.5.5) and found that none of yesterday’s or today’s history is showing - either on the general bit or when I specifically click on 'today' tab. It looks like no history has been recorded for at least 2 days, maybe more. I mean the history of web pages I have been on.

I have checked the settings in the ‘Privacy’ section in ‘Options’ - it says “Firefox will use custom settings for history “ All the boxes are ticked and it’s set to remember my browing history for 90 days. The box for “Clear history when Firefox closes “ is not ticked. So it seems to be set up right, and it was remembering the history before and I haven't changed any settings. So not sure what to do next?

The way I found out about this was, I was sending a message on ebay then clicked the back button on my browser and a message came up saying “To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier)”.

This has happened before, but doesn’t happen every time. Not knowing what to do, and not wanting to send the ebay message twice, I thought a temporary way round it would be to go to my history and click on a page prior to the ebay message page I had just been on. That's when I discovered that there was no recent history.

I don't know if these two problems are connected? I don’t know what to do next… Please talk in laymans (womans) language if you reply cos I'm no techy! :) Thanks!
