Hi guys,

Is there any help or advice anyone could give me about .mix files? I found one on my hard disk which is actually quite important to me from my Dads old computer. Except it is the difficult .mix format. I've tried the 'opening with work routine many times,' but I get a list of file types that I have to convert from and all of them give me the message 'An error occurred when importing this file.'
Tried XNview, but it doesnt recognize the file type.
Anyone have any ideas?
BTW I'm running Word 2003, in Windows XP, SP2

Did you try Googling for a way to open it? I've never heard of that file type, so I'm not really sure, but Google turns up all kinds of suggestions for opening or converting them, like this one: http://www.tech-faq....mix-files.shtml
