Yesterday something quite striking happened to me in my laptop with Windows Vista Basic installed.
I was trying to connect it to another screen. The resolution of my laptop screen suddenly decreased (800x600 I think)...and when I manually tried to change it back to (1200x800) the screen went black and nothing worked fine again.
Since then, every time I start my laptop in the normal mode the CPU is at 100% and there are no processes using it. Everything is incredibly slow and I simply cannot work.
I am writing this from the safe mode with network connectivity enabled. In this mode I can access my files at a normal speed. I guess because the "Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family" device is not active (My graphic card I think).
Thank you in advance
