I am primarily a Firefox user, but I was recently trying other web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Opera). A couple of my friends told me about how fast their Google Chrome was, but when I use Chrome it is very slow, much slower than any of the others. Why would this be?

i agree w/ you somewhat, i used to use firefox, but kept getting to much spyware, so i switch'd to using chrome ... and when typing in addresses to the address bar, the page will load very slow, eventually saying there was a problem or whatnot... but if i hit reload on the browser, the page will immediately appear! bs i have email'd google, but never got a response ... all it is tho, i betcha, its just a loadtime error written in the script, but im so close to going back to firefox, hopefully they have up'd their security levels.
