First of all, hi.

I'm on Windows XP Pro and I'm having problems with a unusually-slow internet, a computer that will not shutdown (only restarts) and consequently won't restore to an earlier time correctly. IE8 is slow and Google Chrome gives me the 'Aw, Snap' page every 5 seconds.

I've ran Malware Bytes AntiMalware and cleared several trojans and I've also ran Super AntiSpyware and found that I have several Adware cookies that keep reappearing:

ehg-hotgroup.hitbox[2].txt
hitbox[1].txt
statse-webtrendslive[1-4].txt

Someone mentioned something about corrupted drivers being a possibility - I'm using a Compaq Presario S3750UK Pentium 4 if that helps.

Any help is much appreciated.
