My computer runs Windows Vista Home Premium Edition OS and this afternoon when I tried to open my Mozilla Firefox email program I got this message instead: "Windows needs to install driver software for your ethernet controller." I'm a newbie and have no idea what an ethernet controller is. I tried unsuccessfully to locate and install the driver software. Since I did not have the original CD software and other options failed I cannot open Firefox to access my email messages. Early this morning, however, I was able to send out some emails. So something happened after that. I have never installed drivers before so I would need some help in doing so. Perhaps from the Windows web site? Could it be a virus? I run AVIRA AntiVir 9 every day so I thought I was protected. I would greatly appreciate any advice from my Geeks to Go friends. Thank you. :)
