start > control panel > mouse

under POINTER OPTIONS, uncheck everything

Thank you gerryf

This helped some.....but I still have the dots all over the monitor. Yes my monitor is clean..LOL :tazz:

The dots don't follow the mouse anymore though....it seem that the more I move the mouse the more dots aper on the screen. ( all over) What can this be? Does it have something to do with the memory?

Thanks again Deb

Thank you so much gerryf

I have found the problem....it was my video card. After what you said I started to change things with the monitor as well. I new that I had an extra video card laying around so I changed it.......It worked, so it must have been my video card. Thanks for the help and tiering me in the right direction.
