I recommend, you uninstall PC SpeedScan, simply a scam: http://www.mywot.com...pcspeedscan.com

Re-run Autoruns, click on Logon tab and UN-check following entries:

+ "HP Health Check Scheduler"
+ "HP Software Update"
+ "hpqSRMon"
+ "iTunesHelper"
+ "NvCplDaemon"
+ "PC SpeedScan Pro"
+ "Performance Center"
+ "SpySweeper"
+ "SunJavaUpdateSched"
+ "Zune Launcher"
+ "HP Digital Imaging Monitor.lnk"
+ "WMPNSCFG"

Switch to Services tab. Un-check:
+ "MsMpSvc"

Restart computer.

Wow, you actually got that out of the file I attached? I opened that thing to see if it worked and I understood some of the programs but it was so unorganized I had no clue what any of it meant.

Either way, thank you so much for all the help. This is a [bleep] good site and you're [bleep] good with computers.

One quick question though? Was Windows Firewall supposed to be turned off with everything I just did? A thing popped up just now saying it was disabled. I turned it back on for safety reasons but if I should just turn it back off I'll do that.

Thank you.
Make sure, Windows firewall is on.
Since you didn't have any AV program for a while....

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
