Hey, first time poster. I use Windows XP operating system and I've been just stalling viruses/malwares/spywares/trojans for awhile, probably years, but never really removed any of them. I recently got some Internet Security 2010 spyware and then my computer will not let me revert back to the original luna theme file because it thought i don't have the theme service started, when i did. I restarted the computer and that no longer presents a problem. A while ago, I got a virus that disabled my sound, and internet connection, I told the computer to automatically restart those services in the services.msc thing and they went away, and the worst part is this one disabled mbam.exe even in safe mode and i have yet to fix that. I can't even rename mbam.exe to something else and try to run the file, it just won't work. The third and final problem i have is at sometime i got a virus/trojan or whatever it is that occasionally runs iexplore.exe when there is not an internet explorer window open. It occasionally has advertisements and other annoying sounds playing from it. So I want to just completely get rid of all of them just so in case in the future its a lot easier to just kill something one at a time instead of it snowballing because mbam won't work. Then also at some time I couldn't install your hijackthis v2.0.2 because my computer will start the process but then all the CPUs just die and no install wizard ever comes up.
