Hi everyone,
I have vista home premium, using Firefox. I was re-arranging my icons on my task bar and deleted them. I thought no problem, I'll just drag the ones I want from my desktop and put them back. I have the task bar unlocked and have only one handle next to the start button, when I click on it to move it to the right to add icons it doesn't move. In the task bar and start properties quick launch doesn't stay checked, also when I right click on the task bar>tools>quick launch
it doesn't check. My computers clean, I must be over looking something, or most probably undid something. I'm a beginner and would appreciate it if someone can give me a few suggestions to try.
Best Regards,
Gilmister

Hi, Go to Start and type in quick launch in the start search, after it open's
drag and drop the the short cut icon's you want in quick launch.
See if that is what your looking for.
Also in Taskbar and start menu properties (taskbar) make sure quick launch is checked and
then hit apply and hit ok, that should do it.

Hi Dwight,
Thanks for your reply. I have the icons in the quick launch folder. The problem is I can't move the handle in the taskbar at the bottom of the page to make room for them. The handle is right up against the start button and I can't move it. I can click on it, but I can't drag it to the right to make room.
Also, when I go to the taskbar start menu properties, The quick launch box won't stay checked. Also, it won't stay checked when I right click on the taskbar>toolbars>quick launch. I can unlock the taskbar, that is not a problem. I thank you for your suggestion though. If you or anyone else can thing of something else, please post. Got to go back out and shovel snow. I hope it's warm where your at.
Best Regards,
Gilmister
