At the moment it hasn't flickered at all. Which might be a good sign since it was doing it very frequently. I'll let you know if it reappears.

Thanks. :)

The flickering appears to have died down although it still occasionally does it.

I also noticed yesterday that the temperatures began to rise again towards the afternoon. Is this normal?

Open the case and turn the computer on.
See, if all fans are running properly.
How old is this computer?

I opened it up and had a look. With the fan on the motherboard it appears only 1 out of the 4 rotors is spinning.

The computer is 2 years old give or take a few days.

I can't see your mobo, so you have to explain better:

it appears only 1 out of the 4 rotors is spinning

Do you know what's the mobo make and model?

Not off the top of my head. I'll reboot and find out.

It is a Phoenix Motherboard. According to sites and their site I have just looked at, it is pretty much impossible to tell what model it is since the numbers in the BIOS and on the board don't relate to a specific model. :)

OK. What do you mean by those 4 rotors?
You have 4 fans and only 1 is working?

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

The fan on the motherboard has 4 blades. From what I can see only 1 seems to spin in its area. The other 3 blades appear to be stationary.

It's weird.

I can see the other 3 fan blades just sitting there, while the bottom left hand blade is spinning back and forth in it's little quadrant. :)

Sure.

I've just uploaded it.

Unfortunately I am not an artist so bear with it please. :)
