I still don't understand how one blade can spin around without hitting 3 others, unless they are on different levels?
I'm not a hardware guy, so maybe that's why I don't get it...LOL
In any case, if something is not spinning, it must be replaced.
That must be your culprit.

Umm yeah by the looks of things the blade that is spinning misses the other 2 next to it. :)

Ok. I'll look to getting a new fan very soon then.

Thanks for your help. :)

The sooner, the better. You don't want to fry that CPU.

Yeah. I'll have a look tomorrow and see what I can find.

Thanks again. :)

At least you don't have any money problems. You can always rob some rich people :)

Yeah, you know how it is. Relieving the rich of their wealth is a necessary duty. :)

Hey Broni. :)

I have some good news and some bad news.

I have been monitoring the speedfan and it appears my fan is working properly now. Almost the entire time the computer is on speedfan gives green ticks for almost everything.

The bad news: the flickering is persisting although not as badly. Is it still a video card/heating problem?

I suspect, you might have caused permanent damage to a video chip by using the computer while it was overheating.
Is it CPU damage, or just video chip damage? I don't know.
It'd be good idea to borrow real video card from a friend and see what will happen.

Alright.

I'll try a different video card and see if the flickering continues. :)
