Ok so ive had this problem for a about 2 months now, i have no sound. Some friends told me to go to Control panel>Add Hardware and it pointed me to two things:

1.)HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8486B
2.)Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus

I tried fixing 1* and it said:
(Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver maybe corrupted or missing.)(Code 39)

I tried fixing 2* and it said:
(The drivers for this device are not installed.)(Code 28)

ANY* help on this would be MAJOR* help, please reply.
[im also looking for free# stuff, thanx] :)
