hey as far as i ve seen the limit on number of primary partitions is 4... i had four primary partitions...deleted data on one of my drives (and the partition as i was curious) when planning to format the drive..when i tried to reallocate it,its only showing up as an extended partition.. any idea why?

Ok so please explain the pictures.
It looks to me like the partition hasn't been partitioned and formatted. I don't see anything for extended or a drive letter assigned.
