Error when installing Vista SP2

Hi all,

I recently tried to install Vista SP2 on my computer (currently running SP1). I followed the instructions, including disabling my antivirus software monitor but receieved the following error right at the start of the attempted installation:

Error: ERROR_NOT_FOUND(0x80070490)

Microsoft's website (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958044) suggested that the remedy is to repair the Vista installation but is there an alternative solution?

Is your computer bootable, or something is screwed?

My computer is seemingly working fine - it is bootable and I haven't noticed anything wrong with it...
