Well

Out with my father today and we went to a pawn shop.
Found a nice 24 inch monitor.

It worked great from what I saw.
Ran perfectly on the laptop they had it hooked up too.
So we got it for $125

1920 X 1200 resolution.

Practically a steal at that price.
Get it home get it hooked up its running smoothly on my PC.
Graphic's Card Raedon 2600HD but every so often the screen will just go black.

I thought it was a cable problem so I've tried both my cables.
Seemly nothing wrong with the cable.

What would / could cause this?
I am starting to think my Graphics Card maybe?
Should I get a newer one?

Monitor is really great.
I am tempted to test it on my laptop to see how it fairs.
It takes VGA and DVI

Can I get everyone's Insight into this problem?
Turning it off and on again helps after leaving it for a moment.

Before I forget the Screen is a Soyo TOPAZ S

First you should use it on more than one computer to determine which is at fault - monitor or computer. It may have been in the pawn shop because it was defective.

Went across the street to the other pawn shop.

Found a Acer 23inch.

inputs, VGA, DVI, AND HDMI, 1900 x 1200 resolution, 5ms response rate.
XD

I'm happy I returned it now.

You may not be the first customer to have returned that monitor. They'll probably try to sell it again. :)
