Hi, I just want to thank you ahead of time for any help you can give me. I don't know where to start. I have McAfee virus protection. Doesn't seem to be working very well although I continually had alerts from it saying I have "fakealert" virus and others. My desktop pis has changed to a warning that I have a serious virus. I have windows popping up saying I am infected. They look like they are real, but I don't think it's coming from my programs. I tried to go through your cleaning guide. TFC worked. It was the only one. The GMER kept restarting my computer and never finished. The OTL kept freezing with an IE is not responding message. I have windows xp by the way.
