I have just completed my family christmas video using Adobe Encore. I have made an iso file output, rather than make media. I can use VLC to play the file, but it does not play the first play correctly. Trying to see if WMP might do this if I can find a plug in. I would debug my video with my popcornhour settop box, but the darn MB just died. :)(

So, this is a fully legal question on a fully legal file I have made myself. All of the videos I have made the last 20 years I have encoded into ISO's.

I am making ISO's for all my home video for the last 20 years. This allows me to format them into DVD structures, but do not have to burn physical media unless I want to. I have believed for a long time physical media is dead, which is why all my home videos are in ISO format, and on hard drives which I play with my popcornhour settop box.

Since VLC does not play the intro first play, I was just wondering if WMP might. I just like different options to test with while I am debugging my final output.

PowerISO ( http://www.poweriso.com/ ) will let you conveniently mount an ISO as a disk drive and you can play anything on it with any player you like. I see they're charging $30 for it lately, but in this case it might be worth it.
