Hi guys,

I'm back. I asked before for help on my friends pc:
Google Redirect - Fixed but More problems

Now the Google Redirect was fixed, which combination of help from this board and searches on the net.

I did also report that some files kept coming up through AVG saying they were suspicious files. I've now deleted the files as it turns out my friend had install bearshare and tried to uninstall it.

But the pc keeps getting infected with viruses, even though I've install AVG and malwarebytes. Now I had been told that installing Microsoft Software Essentials was a bad idea as it can conflict with AVG, but so far they are both working fine, AVG has missed a few things but MSE has caught them.

I have now turned off System restore as I was told that viruses and trojans use that as sometimes a safe haven. But when I've gone to Facebook or even Myspace on the pc its acting quite strange (hard to describe) - I'll try and describe tomorrow if you guys need more info.
