:) :) I am desparate - I am afraid to turn the computer off because I cannot find anything listed on the control panel. Where could it have gone and what do I need to do to get it back? What can I possibly do to function without this ???

Does it open empty, or it doesn't open at all?

it opens with quicktime and two other iems in it that i would have to go there to give the exact names.
also, i tried in vain to go to restore to an earlier date and it will not open from any area that I choose. At one point it said that the icon had the incorrect address for locating it and i had NOT chosen to go desktop shortcut to locate it.
I am in the process of running the antimalware that is suggested in one of the closed topics on a similar issue and it is STILL running. Thank God it has not located any cooties
